Welcome to Soil & Energy,

the innovative partner for sustainable agro-energy projects.

The Soil & Energy gGmbH develops and supports projects in India, Africa and Latin America that combine sustainable energy- and land use . Our approach: food and energy crops adapted for local cultivation and the regional/local use of that energy.

Central factors of our sustainable agro-energy projects are:

  • Optimization of organic farming systems
  • Integration of agroforestry elements
  • Regional/local use of renewable energies (mainly from biomass and biogas)
  • Establishment of local competence and training centres
  • Income generation through participation of the rural population in new business activities of the initiated projects.

Soil & Energy, independently or by commission, carries out: feasibility studies, project development, project implementation, and the development of financing concepts.
